Keyboard and Bengali Typing Help

If you cannot see Bengali in your browser then please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Check Table of Supported Systems & Download Font if Required

Please refer to the table below to see the available font solution for your hardware, Operating System and browser. According to the table, if your system needs to download a font then please click the download link and follow the instructions of Installation.

Please note that the Dynamic Fonts (or Server Side Fonts) are embedded in the web pages and are downloaded automatically. Local Fonts are needed to be downloaded and installed manually.

After Collecting Some Unicode Bengali Fonts, Install fonts using following Steps.

For windows
Installation Instruction:
1. Download and save the font to any folder of your PC.
2. Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Fonts
    then File -> Install New Fonts
3. Then Locate the currently Downloaded Font.
    Then click on OK
You are Finished with your Font installation.

For Macintosh
Installation Instruction:
1. Download and save the font to any folder of your PC.
2. Copy the font to the system's font folder. Typically 'HD > System Folder > Fonts' is your font folder.

After downloading and installing your font or using the supported systems, if you still cannot see Bengali then please proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Check Browser Settings

If your system is supported and exists in the table above (for example: you use Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.0) and you still cannot see Bengali then this step is for you.

Some times your browser settings do not allow the Dynamic Fonts to be downloaded automatically. To check and fix your settings please follow the steps below:

To check your Internet Explorer settings:

1. In Internet Explorer, from the 'Tools' menu, click 'Internet Options'.
2. After the 'Internet Options' dialog appears, click on the 'Security' tab (at top).
3. Click 'Custom Level' button.
4. Under 'Downloads', you will find 'Font Download' option. Please make sure that it is set to 'Enable' mode.


After following step 1 & 2, if you still cannot see Bengali then please email your system details (Hardware, Operating System, Browser etc info) at support@roddur.net. We shall try to provide support for your OS and browser as soon as possible.
